We visited the beautiful city of Oxford last week for Mary's birthday. We strolled around the many fabulous historical buildings, we had a tour of Christchurch College (Alice, the college cat came out to say hello!) and ate delicious food at lovely restaurants. Our afternoon tea at The Alice was a highlight, such pretty decor and scrumptious sandwiches, cakes and scones. There was soooo much to see, we'll definitely be returning!

This is gorgeous. I'm glad you are having fun while on vacation. I could not visit Oxford during my trip last year, but I have always wanted to see it and the iconic views of the "Great Hall" from Harry Potter!

Yes! We were told by the tour guide that they started filming the scenes of the Great Hall there, but found it was too small! So they set up a replica in the studio but it's definitely designed on the one at Christchurch college as shown here 😊 There were so many references to Alice in Wonderland as Lewis Carroll lived most of his life in the college, there's even pictures of her and other characters in a stained glass window, fascinating stuff!
