This month I am massively honoured to feature some fan-art, from the lovely Dhara this time! She has drawn such a beautiful portrait of Lenora, I was truly thrilled when I opened it.
If you have read The Unlovely Bride, then I am sure you will recognise the moment as a very pivotal scene in the book. It is when she shows Garman the full extent of her scarring and although he does not realise it until much later, **spoiler alert** it is the moment he falls in love with her.
If you would like to see more art from Dhara, please check out her Instagram account @bedsheeps
Dhara thanks again for your kind permission to feature your portrait on my blog.
Q. Anne: Have you chosen your next book subject, and if so, have you started it yet? I love your books. A. Hi Anne, thank you so much....

This is so beautiful! I love the tender emotion - feels so human. I am about halfway through The Unlovely Bride and I’m absolutely loving it. ❤️ I already know that as soon as I finish it, I’m going to read it again! Any plans to write more of Garman and Lenora‘s story? I don’t want to leave their world. Thank you for your beautiful writing and story-telling!

Hi Michelle, Ooh, now you're asking me to wrack my brain! Off the top of my head, I know they definitely featured in "Her Bridegroom Bought and Paid For".

I love that it shows she's still beautiful despite the scarring! Becoming less than perfect was so hard on Lenora, but such a great opportunity for character growth. I absolutely love her story <3

Hi Randi
It is a wonderful portrait isn't it? I would like to write Ivo and Magda's story some day, but I was thinking novella rather than full-length. It is on my list! 😆

Oh, this is just stunning! I am currently re-reading The Unlovely Bride, so it was a wonderful surprise to stumble upon this. I still have such high hopes that you will write Ivo and Magda's story some day. Even a novella devoted to them would be amazing.
